Datametrics Loses $278,906 in 3rd Quarter

Datametrics Corp., a Chatsworth maker of computer printers and other high-tech products, said it lost $278,906 in the fiscal third quarter that ended July 29, compared to $527,294 in net income a year earlier. Revenue rose 6% to $8.3 million from $7.8 million.

Sidney E. Wing, Datametrics’ president and chief executive officer, attributed the loss to higher operating costs.
