Share

Pepsico Inc.’s foreign beverage operations are being reorganized into six new units carved out along geographic lines in an attempt to expand Pepsi’s international soft drink business.

Roger Enrico, president and chief executive of the company’s Pepsico Worldwide Beverages division, named presidents of each of the six units, which he said would be self-sufficient with broad local authority in areas such as marketing, sales and technical operations.

Christopher A. Sinclair, a veteran Pepsico executive who most recently headed the central division of Pepsi-Cola USA with responsibility for 11 Midwest states, was named president of Pepsi-Cola International.

The six foreign regions, the presidents and bases of operations are: Western Europe, Frederick Meils, London; Latin America, Luis Suarez, Rio de Janeiro; Middle East-Africa, David Jones, Nicosia, Cyprus; Asia Pacific, Richard Blossom, Singapore; China-India-West Asia-Eastern Europe, Les Ham, Hong Kong, and Canada, Wayne Mailloux, Toronto.
