Home Fed to Acquire S&L;: Home Federal Savings & Loan of San Diego said it agreed to acquire Antelope Valley Savings & Loan for $7 million. Antelope Valley, with assets of $279 million, has offices in Lancaster, Palmdale, Victorville and Valencia. Home Federal said the deal is part of its plan to expand through mergers. Home Federal, with assets of $17.7 billion, currently operates more than 200 offices in California.
