New Column Offers the Views of Veteran Political Writer Boyarsky
The Times’ newest columnist, veteran political reporter Bill Boyarsky, concludes that one reason the Los Angeles County government is virtually paralyzed on many issues is that the five supervisors can’t stand each other.
Boyarsky today begins a regular column on government, politics and urban affairs in Los Angeles County. Boyarsky for the past 11 years has been chief of The Times’ city-county bureau. He also has reported from Sacramento and Washington and is the author of the books “Ronald Reagan: His Life and Rise to the Presidency” and, with Nancy Boyarsky, “Backroom Politics.”
Boyarsky’s column will appear Fridays on Page 2 of the Metro section.
