Woman Dies After Car Goes Out of Control, Hits Tree
An unidentified woman was killed when her car went out of control near Malibu Creek State Park in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County, California Highway Patrol officials said Saturday.
The 20-year-old woman was traveling east on Mulholland Drive at 10:20 p.m. Friday at a high rate of speed and lost control of the car as it rounded a curve west of Las Virgenes Road, Officer Sandra Huston said.
The car ran off the road and struck a tree, Huston said. The woman died at the scene, she said.
