Minnesota Viking safety Joey Browner, who indicated that he believes General Manager Mike Lynn is a racist, said he had “a good meeting” with Lynn.

“We talked about concerns I had about things that were going on in the organization, and (I) think cleared them up,” Browner said of the two-hour meeting.

Allegations of racism arose after a televised interview in which Browner was asked if he thought the fact he is black was a reason he hasn’t received a million-dollar contract.

“Yes, I believe so, but I don’t want to come out and say it because they might use it against me,” Browner said in the interview.

After the meeting, Browner said that he “never really said (Lynn) was a racist . . . but it was my opinion, so I have to live with it.”

Lynn could not be reached for comment.
