NEW YORK — The Rev. Jesse Jackson and Warner Bros. television executives announced today that the two-time Democratic presidential candidate will host a weekly talk show to be syndicated nationally beginning next year.
Jackson said he will use his international contacts to interview world leaders of all viewpoints as well as nonpolitical figures not usually seen on American television to create a freewheeling debate on a variety of topics.
Warner Bros. executives said they hope to line up as many as 100 stations around the country once the program is offered for syndication starting in the fall of 1990.
