The Union of European Football Associations announced sanctions against more than 50 European soccer clubs and players for misconduct in recent European Club matches.

The stiffest of $135,800 in fines was given Partizan Belgrade--$21,600, for incidents during its Cup of Cupwinners match against visiting Celtic Glasgow Sept. 12. Fines of $15,430 each were levied on Feyenoord Rotterdam (UEFA Cup game against VFB Stuttgart Sept. 13), Olympiakos Pireus (UEFA Cup game against Rad Belgrade Sept. 28) and SSC Naples (UEFA Cup game against Sporting Portugal Sept. 27).

More than 30 players were banned for periods ranging from one game to six seasons. Gregori Martin of Malta’s Sliema Wanderers was barred until July 31, 1995, for attacking a referee, and Keijo Kousa of Finland’s F.C. Lahti was barred until July 31, 1994, for spitting at a referee.
