NEWPORT BEACH : Police Find Sleeper Under Couple’s Bed
A Newport Beach couple were awakened early Tuesday by the sound of snoring, only to discover that the source was a stranger who was sleeping underneath their bed, police said.
The couple ran out of their East Bay Avenue apartment and called police from a pay phone, said police spokesman Sgt. Andy Gonis.
Two officers arrived and found Brian Clark Forisso, 26, of Newport Beach, fast asleep beneath the bed. He was arrested on misdemeanor charges of illegal lodging.
Gonis said Forisso had apparently been allowed into the apartment to use the bathroom, but no one seemed to notice that he never left.
