Coca-Cola Co.: The Atlanta-based beverage maker reported third-quarter earnings of $356 million, an increase of 21% over the same period of last year, on revenue of $2.3 billion, which was up 8% over last year. The company said sales of its soft-drink syrups and concentrates were up worldwide and that sales of Minute Maid Premium Choice orange juice were particularly strong. The results include a non-recurring after-tax gain of about $36 million from the sale of the company’s bottled water business during the quarter.
