Orange Teen Hurt in Drive-By Shooting
ORANGE —
A 17-year-old Orange boy was wounded in a drive-by shooting shortly before midnight Friday as he stood with friends at Walnut Avenue and Cypress Street.
The victim, whose name was not released, was shot in the hip in a volley of gunfire from a speeding vehicle, according to Orange Police Department Lt. Trey Sirks.
“We are investigating to see if there is gang involvement,” Sirks said Saturday.
