Broadway theater productions will be brought to television under a new two-year agreement between Qintex Entertainment and Nederlander Television and Film Production Inc. In addition to adapting Nederlander-produced Broadway shows for television, Qintex and Nederlander also plan to create TV movies, miniseries, comedy and drama series. Nederlander Television and Film Productions is part of the Nederlander Organization, which owns or operates 33 theaters across the country, including 11 Broadway houses, and the Pantages and Henry Fonda theaters in Los Angeles.
