Bristol-Myers Squibb Co.: The newly merged drug manufacturer said its two predecessor companies had a combined 16% increase in third-quarter profit to $410.7 million. Combined revenue totaled $2.3 billion, up 6%. The company cited stronger domestic sales and improved international revenue. New York-based Bristol-Myers makes Excedrin and Bufferin pain relievers, household products and prescription medicines. Squibb, based in Princeton, N.J., makes prescription drugs.
