Man, 31, Arrested in Fatal Stabbing

A 31-year-old man was arrested early Saturday on suspicion of murder in the stabbing death of a North Park bus driver.

The two men, who may have been related, got into an argument that resulted in the stabbing, a San Diego police spokesman said. The cause of the dispute was not immediately known.

Frank Anthony Gonzales, 40, was stabbed at his city residence at 4:29 a.m. Saturday, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital within 30 minutes.

The suspect was identified as Paul Velasco, police said. He was being held at the San Diego County Jail.
