The utility reported third-quarter earnings of $50.7 million on revenue of $500.1 million, up from a profit of $46.5 million on revenue of $538.7 million for the same quarter a year previous. For the nine months ended Sept. 30, the utility reported a profit of $124.2 million on revenue of $1.5 billion, contrasted with a profit of $133.1 million on revenue of $1.55 billion for the same nine months in 1988.
