Maurice “Moe” Hickey has resigned as publisher of the Denver Post. He cited “philosophical differences” with William Dean Singleton, chairman of the Denver Post Corp. Singleton will assume the duties of CEO, and Donald Hunt will become publisher. Hunt has been president of Media News International, a subsidiary of the Post’s parent company. Hickey will pursue other opportunities in Colorado.
