Dutchman Racing overcame a wet, slippery track and a field of 80 motorcycles to win the American Motorcyclist Assn. U.S. Endurance race at Daytona International Speedway.
The endurance race was shortened from three to one hour and 40 minutes because of the weather. Rain fell throughout the day and riders fell from their bikes during all nine races on the speedway’s 3.56-mile track.
