Sept. House Prices Up 12% in Conejo Valley

The median price of a single-family house in the Conejo Valley in September climbed 12% to $294,317 from $263,059 a year earlier, the Conejo Valley Board of Realtors reported. The median price means half the houses sold for more than that amount, and half sold for less.

Unit sales of single-family houses in the region dropped 44% in September, to 197 from 352 a year earlier, and sales were 23% lower in September than in August, when 255 houses were sold, the board said.
