Home Federal Savings & Loan Assn. of San Francisco: The savings institution said third-quarter net income jumped 25% from a year ago to $938,000. The firm said non-interest income included $1.2 million from gains on loan sales of $56.3 million, compared to $25,000 and $5.9 million respectively a year ago.
