ACTRESS: Much is made in the current Newsweek of cover subject Michelle Pfeiffer’s Orange County youth. . . . A former Midway City resident and Miss Orange County, Pfeiffer is described as having a “classic aimless fun in the sun childhood.” Her Fountain Valley High School social studies teacher John Boverg remembered her Wednesday as a surfer and a B student who “showed a lot of promise in drama.” Boverg saw her a while back and suggested that she quit acting and finish college. Now he’s glad his advice was ignored.
