Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley will travel to Amsterdam on Monday for the beginning of a 13-day European trip to promote tourism and the airline industry, the mayor’s office announced Friday.

Bradley will be accompanied by a delegation of city officials from the Department of Airports and the Convention and Visitors Bureau. The group will also visit London and Dublin, and Bradley will go on to visit Madrid as a guest of King Juan Carlos I.

The trip is an effort to increase passenger and air cargo service to Los Angeles, the mayor’s office said.
