Micro General Corp.: The Santa Ana-based manufacturer of automated mailing and shipping systems posted net income of $18,079 for the third quarter ended Sept. 24, a 41% decline from the $30,480 recorded for the comparable 1988 period. The 1989 earnings were affected by increased engineering and marketing expenses, the company said. Revenue rose 27%, to $1.7 million from $1.3 million. For the nine-month period, net income increased 66%, to $336,978 from $202,668 for the first three quarters of 1988. Revenue rose 15%, to $5.1 million from $4.4 million.
