Universal’s “Dad,” starring Jack Lemmon, expanded to 1,108 screens and finished third in the box office at $4.5 million. Universal’s Wes Craven horror film “Shocker” ($2.3 million) and Orion’s “Crimes and Misdemeanors” ($2 million), by director Woody Allen, rounded out the Top 5.
