About 2,700 gallons of sewage flowed into San Diego Bay on Monday after tree roots clogged a sewage line for more than an hour, officials said.
The spill occurred at Kellogg and San Gorgonio streets about 3 p.m., according to Richard Porter of the county Health Department.
Warning signs have been posted near the site and will remain there until health officials determine that the water is no longer contaminated.
