Students in the Tustin Unified School District will be given a simulated flight over Mars, an inside look at the world of lasers and a lesson on the latest advances in the treatment of AIDS.
Each of the subjects will be covered in an educational film series that is being donated by Dynachem Electronics Materials, based in Tustin. The firm is a division of Chicago-based Morton International.
The film series, Science Screen Reports, was produced in cooperation with the National Science Teachers Assn. The monthly series will run at the Tustin schools through April. It covers a wide range of topics, including advances in science, technology and medicine.
