Possibly Tainted Sausage Recalled in New England

WASHINGTON —
The Lisbon Sausage Co. is recalling 300 pounds of its “Amaral’s Chourico,” a Portuguese smoked pork sausage product, because it may be tainted by a bacteria that can cause listeriosis, the government has announced. It was distributed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for sale in groceries.
