No More ‘Chicken Soup’

Concerning the Nov. 9 article, “ABC Cites Advertiser Apathy Ratings in Canceling ‘Soup’ ”:

After reading Jeff Kaye’s report that the “Chicken Soup” comedy series had been canceled partly because it lacked the “key demos” (demographics), I suddenly realized why I haven’t watched any ABC shows lately: I’m over 50!

If ABC chooses to see those of us in the middle to later years as demographically undesirable, then its shows deserve to fail.

This disclosure of ABC thinking also sheds light on why the network is showing the pap that makes up much of its fall schedule.
