Soviet Film Makers Coming to U.S.: Eight Soviet film makers have received entry visas to the United States to co-produce a documentary in the Northwest about aviation pioneer Igor Sikorsky, who developed the P-47 Thunderbolt and an early helicopter. The project will be co-produced by Oregon Public Broadcasting and some of the filming will take place at Boeing Co. facilities in the Seattle area. The Soviet film makers are expected to arrive in the Northwest before the end of the year.
