Purchase of Warner Center Bank Discussed

City National Corp. said it is discussing a proposed purchase of Warner Center Bank in Woodland Hills through a swap of all outstanding Warner Center shares for an undisclosed number of City National shares.

Beverly Hills-based City National is the holding company for City National Bank, with $4.3 billion in assets. Warner Center Bank has assets of $63 million.
