San Marino : Revamped City Hall Opens
After six months of renovation, City Hall will reopen at 8:30 a.m. Monday.
The $280,000 project included restoration of an ornate, scroll-like masonry facade around the front door and replacement of a wooden doorway, which was once an entrance to a fire-engine garage.
The renovated quarters will be celebrated with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m Dec. 16 at City Hall, 2200 Huntington Drive.
To ensure a smooth relocation of city offices, which were temporarily housed nearby, the offices closed at noon Tuesday and will reopen Monday morning.
