Two-Year Notes Yield 7.78%: Yields on two-year Treasury notes rose in Tuesday’s auction to the highest level since September. The average yield was 7.78%, up from 7.74% at the last auction Oct. 24. It was the highest rate since two-year notes averaged 8.39% on Sept. 26. The notes will carry a coupon interest rate of 7.75% with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,994.50. A total of $10 billion in notes were sold out of bids totaling $25.1 billion.
