Roemer OK After Surgery

BATON ROUGE, La. — Gov. Buddy Roemer successfully underwent surgery Wednesday to repair a small hernia, the governor’s press office reported. Roemer was listed in good condition at an undisclosed Baton Rouge hospital following the 45-minute operation.
