* MOTORCYCLE TOY RUNS: Bikers throughout Southern California will deliver toys and canned goods for needy children to Dodgers Stadium this morning. At noon, more than 500 members of the Glendale Harley owners club will caravan to downtown to deliver stuffed animals and other toys to Skid Row children.

* TELETHON: The 18th annual “Navidad en el Barrio” telethon will be broadcast today from Roosevelt High School. More than 40 community agencies will distribute Christmas gifts to 23,000 low-income families bought with money raised in the telethon to be aired on Channel 34.

* PEN PALS: Vladimir Naumov, from the Soviet republic of Moldavia will arrive today for a three-day visit with Nancy Scherberth, the La Verne girl who wrote a letter to Soviet President Mikhail S. Gorbachev two years ago, expressing a desire to bridge the Cold War gap. Naumov will be here to experience everyday life in Southern California.

* UNCLAIMED PROPERTY: More than $150,000 worth of unclaimed property from dormant or abandoned safety deposit boxes will be auctioned Monday by the State Controller’s Office at Butterfield and Butterfield’s auction gallery. The merchandise will include jewelry, silver bars, coin collections and even a baseball autographed by Babe Ruth.
