Thank you, Don Roth, for your creative thinking. Locating a regional jail in Chiriaco Summit makes such good sense, especially from the aspect of location and spending taxpayers’ money. Too bad the “older” supervisors slept for 15 years and spent unneeded millions of taxpayers’ dollars to explore a parcel of land the county did not own and did not have the money to buy. “New blood” is often the solution to problems that require a “thinking mind.”
Some creative thinking is badly needed in Sheriff Brad Gates’ office. Possibly, that would cure some of the ridiculous statements coming from him and his department.
