Aga Khan Quits British Jockey Club

LONDON —
The Aga Khan, one of the world’s leading race horse owners, has resigned from Britain’s Jockey Club in protest over methods used to test two of his horses for drugs.
In a statement, the Aga Khan said he was quitting membership of the governing body of British horse racing over the “scientific and administrative methods employed by the club and its forensic laboratory.”
