Perelman Mulls Shearson Investment: Ronald O. Perelman, the chairman of Revlon Inc., is discussing an investment of millions of dollars in Shearson Lehman Hutton Inc. in exchange for a large stake, according to Wall Street sources quoted by the New York Times. In the deal, Perelman would be able to obtain about 20% of the stock in Shearson if he exercised all his options. He would have the right to buy the stock in two transactions from American Express Co., which owns 60% of Shearson.
