Why do we continue to pour so much money into space exploration? Instead, I would rather have my tax dollar go into education. A country like ours should encourage every student to excel to his maximum potential, and we should give them our support. Yet, we still have illiteracy. Why do we continue to graduate these students?

I propose we continue supporting the literacy program through our public libraries and we take it a step further. We should allocate money and encourage student tutoring. The higher scholastic student could share his talents and earn a salary.
