The Nashville Network, a cable television program, has decided not to pursue a series featuring former “Adam 12” stars Martin Milner and Kent McCord.

A pilot for the series, “Nashville Beat,” was aired on TNN in October. The show was about former police partners who teamed up again to fight crime.

“The ratings were not as good as we anticipated,” said David Hall, TNN’s vice president and general manager.

But Jim Merrill, spokesman for N.A.C. Productions, which produced “Nashville Beat,” said other networks have inquired about the show. He would not identify them.
