1 Killed, 1 Hospitalized in Pacoima Bar Fight
One man was stabbed to death and another was critically wounded during a late-night melee at a bar near San Fernando Road and Branford Street in Pacoima, Los Angeles police said Sunday.
Officer Robert Nowak said police found the dead victim Saturday about 11:30 p.m., lying in the street outside 9980 San Fernando Road with stab wounds in the upper torso.
The second victim was found about a block away with similar wounds. He was taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where he was reported in critical condition Sunday.
Nowak said the stabbings evidently occurred during a bar brawl. The names of the victims were being withheld pending notification of their relatives, he said.
