Palmdale Man Stabbed, Robbed Behind Market
A 36-year-old Palmdale man was stabbed three times and robbed of $80 as he walked down an alley behind a supermarket, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said Sunday.
Steve Jones was stabbed twice in the chest and once in the back in the attack, which occurred about 8 p.m. Saturday behind a Lucky supermarket at Palmdale Boulevard and 25th Street East, said Deputy Wayne Kiger. Jones was taken to Palmdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was treated and released, Kiger said.
The attacker also hit Jones over the head before going through his pockets and escaping with the money, Kiger said.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
