Priestess Gets 360 Days for Probation Violation
A convicted prostitute who says she has had intercourse with 2,000 men as the high priestess of an ancient sex-worshiping church was sentenced in Los Angeles Monday to 360 days in jail for a probation violation.
Mary Ellen Tracy, 46, the self-proclaimed high priestess, was found by Municipal Judge Marion Obera to have violated her probation because of her arrest Nov. 14 on suspicion of pandering. Tracy immediately posted bail to avoid going to jail while the city attorney’s office determines whether it will file a misdemeanor charge against her stemming from the Nov. 14 arrest.
Obera on Sept. 22 placed Tracy on three years’ probation and sentenced her to 90 days in County Jail after she was convicted of operating a house of prostitution. Tracy posted bail to delay serving that sentence while appealing.
