Mazda Account: Two creative directors have been hired by Foote, Cone & Belding/Orange County to head the agency’s sizable $200-million account of Irvine-based Mazda Motor of America.
Bryan Birch, 42, and Ed Cole, 32, join the Santa Ana office on Dec. 15, reporting to Larry Kopald, the shop’s executive creative director for Los Angeles and Orange counties.
Both Birch and Cole came from BBDO Los Angeles. They are the latest to join FCB/Orange, where 50% of the current staff of almost 100 has been hired in the last 16 months.
