HUNTINGTON BEACH : Sister City Seeking Teacher’s Assistant
The Sister City Assn. of Huntington Beach is seeking applicants for a teacher’s assistant position with the group’s sister city, Anjo, Japan.
According to the request from Anjo, applicants do not have to be in the teaching profession. They must, however, have a bachelor’s degree in any field and have an interest in Japan and in education.
Anjo recently sent word to the Sister City Assn. that it would like to hire an English-speaking teacher’s assistant for the 1990-91 academic year. That person also would provide English instruction to Japanese teachers in Anjo and would be asked to speak at various activities sponsored by the Anjo City Board of Education.
Those interested in applying for the position should write to the Sister City Assn. of Huntington Beach, PO Box 190, Huntington Beach, Calif. 92648.
