EVOLUTION: UCI evolutionary biologist Francisco Ayala (above) has been active in the ongoing legal battle between creationists and evolutionists (A3). He testified against an Arkansas law that put creationism on equal footing with evolution, and a judge threw out the law. . . . Ayala has been “consulted right along” on the California situation and says: “What seems to be forgotten is creationists do not represent orthodox Christian or Jewish views. Mainstream churches are on the evolution side, not the creationist side.”
