A movie producer whose dream of an epic film featuring Zsa Zsa Gabor apparently has crumbled said Tuesday he wants to file a $10-million suit against a Saudi sheik who pledged to bankroll the project.

Chris Christenson, president of A Major Motion Picture Co. in Hollywood claimed Mohammed Fassi promised a $12,000 check last week to begin work on the proposed $50-million film about Saudi Arabia.

Christenson, 61, said he did not receive the check and contacted Miami attorney Ellis Rubin, who represented Fassi in his numerous financial disputes in the early 1980s.

Rubin said his office is investigating Christenson’s allegations before filing the breach-of-contract suit in Dade Circuit Court.

Christenson and Fassi announced the film project Saturday. The following day, Fassi ordered Gabor off the film after she allegedly questioned his credibility while visiting his Miami Beach estate.
