McMartin Jurors Return 6 More Sealed Verdicts
Jurors in the McMartin Pre-School molestation case returned six more sealed verdicts minutes after resuming deliberations Wednesday afternoon, bringing the total to 32.
They are now halfway through their work, with 33 counts still to be decided in the case against Raymond Buckey, 31, and his mother, Peggy McMartin Buckey, 63.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge William Pounders said he will not unseal and make public any of the verdicts so long as the panel is making steady progress. They returned to the downtown Criminal Courts building jury room Tuesday after a two-week vacation.
