The NBA will not sanction a proposed $1-million one-on-one duel between Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls and Magic Johnson of the Lakers, according to a report in the Chicago Sun-Times.
The newspaper quoted Gary Bettman, NBA senior vice president and general counsel, as saying that the game is not something the NBA would want to sponsor or allow anyone else to promote.
