‘Tribes’ on Hold: Less than a week before its premiere date, Fox Television Stations has decided to delay until March the unveiling of “Tribes,” its ambitious new 30-minute daily serial drama focusing on the lives of Southern California teen-agers. Are the folks at Fox worried “Tribes” isn’t up to snuff? Well, the official word from the Fox camp is that the stations didn’t want the series, which is set to air between 5-7 p.m. on Fox-owned outlets in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Washington, Dallas, Houston and Boston, to be launched so close to the February ratings sweeps.
