Jacobs Engineering Group Inc.: The Pasadena engineering and construction firm announced record net income and earnings for the first quarter. Profit rose 57% to $3.3 million on revenue of $211.5 million, an increase of 28% from the same period a year ago. Included in the current quarter was net income of $518,000 from the sale of marketable equity securities.
