The United States will continue to meet the Soviet Union national men’s basketball team, according to an announcement made by USA Basketball President Dave Gavitt and a Soviet official.

Competition will include one game on Aug. 4 in the United States in a city to be named; two 10-game series in the United States vs. NCAA universities in November of 1990 and 1992; a three-game series in the United States in 1991 and a U.S. select team, or top-level Division I school to tour the Soviet Union in June of 1990.
